In accordance with the EU (European Union) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) as of 25th May 2018, I am putting this page on my site to inform you about the data this blog holds,.

The goal of GDPR is to give EU citizens control over their personal data and change the data privacy approach of organizations across the world.

I will only ever contact another blogger when I have been given consent by them and it will be for the purpose of finding Beta Readers or reviewers. For it to be considered explicit consent, I must be given a positive opt-in from you to allow me to contact you

This blog uses WordPress.com free service which provides general analytical information of all users activities including the country location of users and which links are clicked and any search terms which may be used while looking on the website or entering the website via certain search engines. This information provides me with general details of where blog users come from and which posts/pages are most viewed. These general statistics of where blog visitors originate and which posts/pages are most clicked may be shared however they will not be identified to specific persons or accounts.

Advertisements

No money is earned via any advertisements which may be seen on this blog. Advertisements appearing on this blog are part of WordPress.com and their free service which this blog currently subscribes to. I am not responsible for any information collected via the clicking of ads or the use of cookies (if they are used to create more targeted advertising).

Other

Data Syncing is enabled on this site and means that a shadow version of this blog is saved onto the WordPress.com servers. This includes any commenters personal information collected (as listed above). At the time of writing this WordPress.com is still working on enabling its users to delete the information collected during visits. As soon as this is enabled I will be able to delete all information on your visit if you wish it to be deleted.

This blog is free to view by all ages and given the nature of many of the books and images shared on this website, minors (children below the age of 16) may choose to interact with this site. It is not the intention of Decidinglybob.wordpresss.com to collect personal information of those below the age of 16. There should be consent from a parent/guardian. If you are a parent/guardian of a minor who’s data has been collected and wish for it to be removed you are free to email me at matthewsmaria92@yahoo to request this.

Entering Competitions/Giveaways

Competitions/giveaways held on this blog will require users participating to provide names and email addresses to enter. Details of individual competitions/giveaways will be included on the relevant blog posts as well as be included in the rules of that competition/giveaway. By entering you consent to be contacted via the email you have used to enter.

Winners may be required to provide mailing addresses (where the prize is a physical item as opposed to a digital item) which may be shared with third parties if that prize is to be sent by the third party and not by myself (i.e. an author will be sending the book rather than me sending it). In these cases it will be made clear in the competition rules that a third party will have access to such information. Winners names/user IDs may also be used in subsequent blog posts to identify the winner of the competition/giveaway. All information provided to me via any competition/giveaway will be kept until a valid winner is identified and contacted then all information of all entrants will be deleted.

DecidinglyBob.wordpress.com is not responsible for the storing and subsequent deleting of any information passed onto third parties during competitions/giveaways.
