It was hidden from sight for seven months but at last we have some “terrible hot weather” as we call it because Summer is here, again, however briefly. Truth is most Irish people wilt at anything above 21 degrees.
But Bob has his own solution, which consists of sitting (no surprise there), in the shade.
Though I suspect he is simply waiting on those raspberries to ripen.

It is nice to be able to pass on good news Freddy, as Maria named him has moved to his forever home.
Please note they allow him to snooze on laps and the sofa whereas I am banned from such activities.
After the Christmas Reindeer story, I thought I was safe for a few weeks. Life can be cruel can’t it?

I thought some tips would come in handy for every animal on how to help train your owner.
1. LISTEN TO YOUR OWNER
Perfect the – I am listening look – it will win you loads of hugs and praise
2. BE CONSISTENT
If your owner wants to play ball – let him. There will always be more balls around or another dog to find them.
3. TELL HIM OR SHOW HIM WHAT YOU WANT HIM TO DO
It is important you set some boundaries, and always teach them by example.
BECAUSE IN THE END IT WILL BE WORTH IT – THEY WILL CATCH ON.

I was having a snooze when I began to feel really warm.
Then I woke to find I had been sabotaged. Though the promise of some biscuits did keep me happy for a while.

I made my escape
and was rewarded when I spotted these two flying high towards mudpile wood.
I wonder if I could get into Mr. Breeze’s party?
It was a busy night for spiders as you can see,
So our walk was a little later than usual.
By eleven o’clock it was a glorious morning for sniffing and being out and about.
Until we stopped for a break and saw
A monster
On closer inspection it was an arms waving monster.
I don’t like it. Could it be a weird giant spider?
It was Tuesday Maria was setting up to start blogging after we had a glorious walk when her phone went ping. She grabbed her coat, kicked me and Ellie outside.
When she arrived back we were not greeted as normal. I got curious.
They were back!
This is just ridiculous.
Something has to give and it won’t be me.
I was waiting for ages.
I thought we were baby sitting. Normally a job I love, kids, toys, fun and food. What more could a sociable dog want?
Definitely not this…..
I was hijacked into babysitting….kittens?

Ellie was doing laps of the house
Sara wasn’t there but we smelt a very strange smell
But Yea…..I found it
I called Ellie because I couldn’t believe it

I will have to stay here and wait to talk to her. We need to sort this out.
