Working means many things to many people. But in the world of dogs (as in my two) work means the following:
For Ellie, – collecting sticks while out walking
Bob sitting
Ellie finding lost tennis balls.
Getting mucky while finding the smallest trace of scent hidden in the weirdest of places. Today was weird it was a pipe buried in the ground.
Bob – sitting.
I think you get the idea there is a pattern here all pointing to one thing – Bob likes to sit and be sociable while Ellie loves to work.
Hey ELLIE! Nice ears, you BABY! -Magic

Thank you he agrees but I am thinking of getting him a job in a retirement home or nursing home, he might be ideal as a dog to help the elderly as in give comfort and put a smile on everyones face.

I think that’s a wonderful idea! I’m a great believer in giving a dog a job. And in such an environment, his gift for sitting calmly would be a huge advantage – plus it looks as though he has a marvelous coat that just begs you to bury your fingers in it.

Yes you are correct about his coat unfortunately at the moment it is shedding like snow so I will have to wait for a week or so. But I will keep you informed on his progress.

Oh boy, yes – gotta love the shed. He looks like he’d generate enough fluff to stuff a duvet!
